Our Charity Partners:

As most players are aware, charity funding is the primary goal of your local bingo location. Fundraising done by Optimist Clubs, school parent groups or small foundations is one of the most effective ways of returning your dollars directly into the local community.

At Lucky Days Bingo, we are proud to partner with the following groups:

A.L.S Society

ALS (Lou Gerhig's Disease) is a terrible disease with no cure to this point. A typical patient has a 1 to 5 year life expectancy, with ever increasing needs for equipment: walkers, wheelchairs, ramps and computers that all need regular updating. Thanks to our bingo proceeds, we are able to have an extensive equipment pool to meet the needs of many patients. We also support the ALS Research Centre in hopes of one day finding a cure.

Byron Optimist Club

The Byron Optimists are a service club dedicated to supporting youth. The Club supports soccer and baseball programs primarily, but also operates an Easter egg hunt, bike rodeos and the Canada Day fireworks display. Lord Nelson Home & School

Since 1999, the Lord Nelson Home & School has worked to purchase 2 new sets of playground equipment for all ages of the school's students. In addition, bingo proceeds fund things like: Grade 8 Graduation, school team support, sports equipment, scoreboards and t-shirts. The school has also installed 'smart boards', provided library books, cd players, cameras and newspaper subscriptions for their students. Each year, every child receives a student planner. It's with great pleasure that we notify our parents that we couldn't offer many of these items if it wasn't for the funds raised by operating bingos.

Prince Charles Home & School

Prince Charles Public School has found many uses for the funds that we have been fortunate to receive, as a member of the Charity Bingo Association. The proceeds have enabled us to buy new team uniforms, upgrade our developmental classroom and purchase sports equipment for each of the classrooms. Our libraries, both school and classroom, have been increased and are continually updated with purchases each month. A portion of the proceeds each year also goes towards awards to recognize our graduating class for the outstanding academic achievements that they have done throughout the year. This is just a small example of how the funds benefit all students and staff at Prince Charles Public School.

Regina Mundi Catholic College

Students are provided many opportunities because of your support. These funds assist with tournament costs, purchase of uniforms for sporting teams, repairs to athletic equipment, new equipment, choir uniforms, sheet music, additional library books – just to name a few. Most importantly, these funds provide students with opportunities which otherwise they would not have - - to be able to join a team or a club and be part of the RMC community – to belong - to participate - to enjoy – for this we thank you.
